Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Went fairly smoothly. The team is friendly and helpful. Lots of opportunities to ask questions and decide which avenues make sense to take. Definitely a gradual process, no set timeline for healing since it’s so personal/tailored to you, be prepared to change course if needed. Scheduling is quick and flexible and most follow up appointments are brief. Overall good experience :)

I had been struggling with extreme jaw pain for roughly 9 weeks before being referred here. At that point I was seen twice in the ER, an urgent care visit, and 3 different dentist with little to no answers, and no pain relief. Day 1 of my visit here and i finally have answers to my pain, and have a plan. Most importantly i finally have some hope that I’ll be pain free soon! The entire staff was extremely friendly and so intelligent. The care the entire team provided is one of the best offices I have been to in the medical field. I would HIGHLY recommend booking an appointment with this office!!

Came in with all kinds of jaw, neck, and back pain. I liked the holistic team approach to treatments, and since my insurance is terrible anyway, figured self pay wouldn’t be much different. Honestly even if I had good insurance still worth paying out of pocket. Dr Kristina and the entire crew are great at what they do and always very friendly/responsive. There is no magical, quick easy fix for Tmj so expect to work at it over the course of the year of treatments. If you actually follow the treatments I believe this will work for just about everyone. My pain went away after a few weeks using the mouth guards with the supportive treatment, and now focusing on how I got to this point so I don’t repeat. Highly recommend! (Sorry for the long review)

I do NOT recommend this center or Dr. Wolf. My experience was negative, and I left in worse condition than when I started. This doctor does not understand the TMJ joint. If you have a displaced disc, you should NOT be given a MAD appliance. You can find this information from the TMJ Association. I would not TRUST this doctor with your TMJ joint EVER. She only treats you as a sleep apnea person, she does not understand tmj joints. AS A WARNING TO OTHERS, YOU MAY FEEL GOOD AT FIRST BUT YOU MUST BE VERY CAREFUL OF HER PRACTICE AND APPLIANCES. IF SOMETHING DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT, LISTEN TO YOUR BODY RIGHT AWAY. SHE KEPT TELLING ME IT WAS NORMAL AND PART OF THE "HEALING" PROCESS TO HEAR NOISES AND PAIN, WHICH I NOW KNOW, THAT IS NOT NORMAL and LEFT WORST OFF. YOU DON'T HEAL FROM TMJ, YOU WORK ON ROOT CAUSE AND MANAGING AND REDUCING SYMPTOMS. Also, her MAD night appliance, can be very RISKY. I went in for muscle tightness and a clogged ear. I had no pain, popping, or clicking in my jaw before seeing her. After treatment, I developed all of the above symptoms and now have significant TMJ damage, severe occlusion from her appliances. She claims to help you with sleep, breathing and root cau

UPDATE: I have been in treatment with Dr. Wolf for about 6-7 months now, and I am happy to report that her treatment is working! She has encouraged me to address other health concerns that are contributing to my TMJ dysfunction, and that is helping me as well. As I said before, my only regret is not coming sooner! Also, her team is amazing. Everybody is so friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough about how great these people are. I would recommend Dr. Wolf and her team to anyone who has been struggling with TMJ issues. ORIGINAL: I am beyond impressed with Dr. Wolf and her team. From the moment I walked in, I felt very comfortable. Every single team member I interacted with was amazing. I mostly worked with Carly, and I thought she was great! Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Wolf is such a wealth of knowledge, which is obvious the minute you begin speaking with her. She is incredibly thorough and helpful. I really appreciated that she dives deeper to help solve pain at the source so that her patients can actually heal and get better. I love that she has a multidisciplinary approach to her treatment. My only regret is that I didn’t come see her sooner. I would highly reco
